First Year Overview Your initial year establishes the scientific foundations of medicine, supporting both biomedical and clinical studies. You'll also explore ethical, social, and technological aspects of medical practice.
Instruction combines lectures, small group work, hands-on labs, and tutorials. Four core themes span all undergraduate and graduate programs: Research-based medicine, Clinical skill development, Professional medical standards, and Healthcare quality/safety systems.
