Established in 1711, Trinity's School of Medicine has been pivotal during Ireland's medical renaissance. The five-year medical curriculum prepares students for a mandatory internship year before achieving full medical registration.
Trinity partners with two major modern teaching hospitals - St. James's Hospital and Tallaght Hospital - both equipped with advanced specialist departments. Affiliated specialty centers comprise The Coombe Hospital, Naas General Hospital, the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Noble's Hospital, CHI at Crumlin, Our Lady's Hospice and Care Services (Harold's Cross and Blackrock), Peamount Hospital, the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital, and St. Patrick's University Hospital.
Entry to Trinity College Dublin’s undergraduate programmes is highly competitive. International applicants must have completed a high school qualification equivalent to the Irish Leaving Certificate. General matriculation requirements include pass grades in English, mathematics and a language other than English. Additional requirements may apply for some courses.
