This program blends practical business law applications with theoretical and policy considerations. Drawing on the School's extensive expertise across various business law domains—such as banking, corporate law, financial services, insolvency, and regulatory compliance—it prepares students for real-world legal practice. Participants will undertake a specialized research dissertation with personalized guidance while gaining insights from industry professionals through guest seminars. These sessions feature experts from legal firms, government agencies, regulatory organizations, and international specialists in the field.

Qualification Requirements
Candidates must be approved by the School of Law and must normally:
(a) hold a Second Class Honours Grade I in a primary honours Law degree (NFQ, Level 8); Or
(b) have such other relevant third-level educational qualifications and/or professional experience as, in the opinion of the School of Law, qualifies the candidate under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to undertake the LLM (Business Law) Degree.
