The MA Applied Linguistics program from the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures equips students with analytical frameworks for language study and specialized training across applied linguistics disciplines. You'll also develop essential research methodologies for conducting studies in this field.
Our department enhances learning through guest lectures by global experts, tailored to current student interests each year. The thesis component enables focused research on your chosen specialization.
Though no prior linguistics background is necessary, this program particularly suits language graduates or those pursuing language-focused careers in education, media, communications, or speech therapy.
This intensive one-year MA attracts diverse candidates, from current/future language educators to linguistics enthusiasts. The curriculum comprises two segments totaling 90 credits.
