Like other creative disciplines, Drama and performance analysis offer valuable applications across diverse sectors including healthcare, governance, learning environments, and beyond.
Theatre education explores every artistic element that constitutes live performances - from wardrobe and illumination to audio, collaborative creation, staging, visual concepts, dramatic composition, and script development. Our studies also delve into theatrical significance, examining cultural and societal contexts, performance environments, the dynamic between spectators and actors, and the integration of modern digital tools.
Applicants must have completed a high school qualification equivalent to the Irish Leaving Certificate. General matriculation requirements include pass grades in English, mathematics and a language other than English. Additional requirements may apply for some courses.
