The MA Visual and Critical Studies program, offered by TU Dublin's School of Art and Design, provides specialized interdisciplinary education focusing on modern visual culture theory, criticism, and art/design history.
This Contemporary Visual Culture MA targets graduates from visual culture, art history, design history, and art philosophy backgrounds, enabling in-depth exploration of current visual culture through archival and textual research methods.
As part of the Creative Arts Masters Platform alongside Interior Design, Visual Communications, 3D Design, and Fine Art programs, this course combines specialized study with collaborative opportunities. The Platform fosters expertise within a vibrant environment that emphasizes critical analysis of visual culture through historical and theoretical perspectives.
Bachelor Degree (Honours 2.1 or above) in relevant disciplines.
