The Master of Science (MSc) in Bioprocess Engineering is offered through a collaboration between DCU's School of Biotechnology, Trinity College Dublin's School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT). This DCU-accredited program provides an engaging, hands-on curriculum that enhances students' theoretical and practical understanding of bioprocess design and management. Participants gain comprehensive insights into bioprocessing, including the composition, functions, and analytical techniques related to biopharmaceuticals, along with production methodologies and process monitoring technologies. The program delivers cutting-edge academic training in key bioprocess engineering fields while cultivating versatile skills across all pertinent subject areas.
This programme is targeted at industry based students or anyone who wishes to move from small molecule manufacturing to bio-pharma. For example, in cases where a student has more than three years industry experience in a related field.
