You'll enhance your abilities in communication, leadership, and analytical thinking. During your third and fourth years, you'll undertake extensive teaching placements in schools, with the additional opportunity to study abroad via the Erasmus program. The curriculum incorporates diverse learning methods such as in-person and virtual lectures, collaborative group projects, independent study, practical sessions, professional placements, and research. While this qualification prepares you for secondary school teaching in PE and mathematics both in Ireland and internationally, it also provides excellent foundations for coaching certifications or careers in education, exercise science, sports education, rehabilitation, and mathematics.
