The MA and PhD programs in Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies focus on our shared passion for exploring performance through cultural and political lenses. Our curriculum examines both staged performances and everyday behaviors to understand their cultural, political, and ideological significance across different eras. By analyzing performances in diverse settings – from theaters and galleries to public spaces, rituals, media, and political events – we uncover how performance can offer insightful perspectives on societal issues, fostering civic engagement and ethical public discourse.
