The MFA in Dance Program: Choreography, Collaboration, Creation mirrors current trends in contemporary artistic practice. This intensive five-term program, focused on student development, brings together graduate students from various disciplines and backgrounds to form creative teams. Together, you'll develop, produce, and showcase original works while gaining essential theoretical and technical skills for multidisciplinary performance art. The program connects with the Dance Department's groundbreaking BFA program (Canada's first and most extensive of its kind) and expands upon York University's three-decade legacy of its world-renowned MA in Dance.
