Our Master of Science (MSc) in Integrative Biology offers a cross-disciplinary research methodology, enabling you to investigate intricate biological questions by connecting traditional sub-disciplines across various species and timeframes - from immediate physiological responses to evolutionary timescales.
Through this program, you'll cultivate agile thinking about biological challenges and systems. You'll build strong self-assurance in your learning, reasoning, and decision-making capabilities, backed by solid, verifiable skills in analytical reasoning and solution development.
You'll acquire the expertise to conceptualize and execute significant original research initiatives, then effectively share your findings through multiple channels - whether in peer-reviewed journals, scientific symposium presentations, or mainstream media articles. These competencies are essential for establishing yourself as an authority and innovator in biological sciences.
Students must have the following:
English Proficiency
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL):
TOEFL iBT: minimum score of 89, with minimum skill scores of 21 in each of the skills tests (speaking, writing, reading and listening).
Paper-based TOEFL: minimum of 573.
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS): minimum score of 7.
Pearson Test of English (PTE): minimum score of 60.
The Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Assessment: minimum score of 70.
