The Master of Arts (MA) in History is offered through the Tri-University Graduate Program in History, a collaborative initiative between Laurier, the University of Waterloo, and the University of Guelph.
By combining history departments, we've created one of Canada's largest graduate history programs while maintaining the intimate class sizes and supportive faculty-student dynamic characteristic of Laurier's History department.
Our program emphasizes exceptional teaching and academic growth. You'll engage in stimulating seminar discussions exclusively for MA candidates, with class sizes capped at 15 students.
You'll benefit from individualized guidance by research-active faculty who prioritize mentoring relationships. Our diverse faculty expertise supports broad research interests and helps you achieve your educational and career goals.
