Alumni of Queen's Master of Art Conservation program work across the globe in conservation labs and research centers at museums, galleries, libraries, archives, and private conservation practices. Many graduates pursue doctoral studies in North America, Europe, and Australia.
The Art Conservation Treatment Stream focuses on preserving paintings, artifacts, or paper objects, involving a research project and mandatory two summer internships lasting 12 weeks each. Meanwhile, the Art Conservation Research Stream emphasizes original thesis research without hands-on conservation work.
