Western's Master's in Music Education empowers music educators across classrooms, studios, and community settings to enhance their professional expertise. This program introduces cutting-edge concepts and methodologies, preparing educators to take on leadership roles in the field.
Students can pursue studies either full-time or part-time, with course offerings available during Fall, Winter, and Summer semesters. The July summer sessions are conducted on campus.
The curriculum is built upon three core objectives:

20-month duration (5 terms)
Applicants must possess a four-year degree from a university college or institute The School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies requires at least a 70 percent average across courses taken in the last two fulltime years of the undergraduate degree Equivalent qualifications may be considered based on the standards of the discipline or profession.
