Through our partnership with Wilfrid Laurier University's Department of Religion and Culture, you'll benefit from expanded educational resources. Graduates will develop cross-cultural awareness, analytical abilities, and historical perspectives valuable for diverse professional paths. The co-op option provides up to 24 months of practical work experience. The Religious Studies curriculum adopts a scholarly examination of global belief systems, analyzing sacred texts, moral philosophies, and ceremonial practices from their ancient roots in Asian, Middle Eastern, and Western civilizations to their modern manifestations in Canadian society. You'll learn from experts employing multiple academic frameworks - including sociological, linguistic, historical, and theological methodologies.
