Faith-based groups and viewpoints maintain significant influence in modern society. Religious Studies is an interdisciplinary domain examining the doctrines, rituals, and historical developments of various faiths, along with addressing the issues and opportunities presented by spiritual matters in today's world.
Students transferring from college programs need a minimum "B" overall grade in an approved one-year certificate (such as General Arts and Sciences, Pre-Health Science, or Human Services Foundation) or a completed diploma. Transfer students can receive up to five credits maximum, with each course requiring at least 60% for credit consideration.
For Ontario high school students a minimum 80% final entrance average is required. Averages are calculated on the top six 4U or 4M credits including English 4U.
English language requirements:
IELTS Academic is required with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0.
TOEFL score of 580 or higher and a score of 4.5 on the TWE or a score of 85-90 on Internet Based Test (IBT) with no section less than 20.
C.A.E.L. (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment) - A minimum score of 60 is required with no part less than 60.
(PTE Academic) - A minimum overall score of 58 is required with no score less than 56.
DUOLINGO A minimum score of 115 overall with a minimum of 100 for each subscore.
Cambridge C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency: A minimum overall score of 176, with a minimum of 169 in each section.
