Our Master of Science in microbiology program explores core scientific inquiries and challenges related to health and environmental sciences. Throughout this program, students complete coursework while developing an original research project under faculty mentorship. The curriculum provides both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in cutting-edge molecular methods. Participants will have opportunities to publish their findings in academic journals and showcase their work at professional conferences. All enrolled students are guaranteed funding, with a minimum annual stipend of $26,000 for the 2022-23 academic year, sourced from faculty research budgets, teaching positions, and potential university scholarships or awards.

Qualification Requirements
Your bachelor’s degree should give you an appropriate background in biochemistry.
Preference for admission is given to students with at least a 77% (B+, 6.0 GPA, high Second Class in Britain) average in the last two years of undergraduate study.
You may also be considered with an equivalent of a minimum B (5.0 GPA) average over the last two years of your degree with a demonstrated record of research ability.
