The Master of Education in Curriculum & Pedagogy (C&P) program offers a structured platform for analyzing curriculum through a comprehensive lens, encompassing both formal and informal learning environments. It involves rigorous exploration of content (including subjects, courses, and study programs), objectives, and teaching methodologies that facilitate learning.
To earn the Master of Education in Curriculum & Pedagogy degree, students must successfully finish ten half-courses, available for full-time or part-time study. Depending on prior background and qualifications, some candidates may need to complete extra coursework. With faculty members pursuing varied academic and research focuses, the program features six optional specialization areas. Full-time students have a three-year completion window, while part-time students are allotted six years to fulfill all degree requirements.
Applicants are admitted under the General Regulations of the School of Graduate Studies, which specify an appropriate bachelor's degree from a recognized university. This degree must be completed with an academic standing equivalent to a University of Toronto mid-B or better in the final year.
