The Peace, Conflict and Justice program offers undergraduate students a multidisciplinary education focused on three key areas: understanding the roots and interpretations of conflict, peace, and justice; examining real-world experiences in conflict zones and peace/justice movements; and exploring strategies for conflict resolution and achieving peace or justice. The curriculum spans diverse subjects such as peacemaking efforts, international and civil wars, uprisings, ethnic tensions, global equity, and negotiation techniques. This program tackles pressing global humanitarian challenges while equipping students with analytical skills to examine these issues at various scales - from local communities to international systems. Those considering this program may benefit from pairing it with complementary majors like International Relations.
