Conflict Resolution Studies (CRS) examines the characteristics and patterns of human disputes. This program equips learners to comprehend and engage productively with conflicts at personal, community, and international levels. As an interdisciplinary field, CRS investigates themes including aggression, authority, fairness, harmony, dialogue, societal influences, warfare, conflict management, and mediation techniques. Combining classroom instruction, practical workshops, and hands-on experiences, the curriculum reveals innovative approaches to fostering positive connections and averting aggression. Menno Simons College collaborates with the University of Winnipeg to deliver this program. Students can pursue CRS as a standalone concentration or effectively pair it with disciplines like Business Management, Economic Theory, Sustainability Science, Global Development Programs, Political Science, or Social Structures.
