Our nutrition graduate programs offer students diverse specialization opportunities. Research focuses on critical health improvement areas, covering clinical nutrition, community nutrition, nutritional biochemistry, dietary evaluation, nutritional epidemiology, nutrition education, intervention strategies, food security, biotechnology applications, and nutrition services management.
The University of Saskatchewan (USask) provides unique advantages with its concentrated health sciences campus. Students can enhance their experience through off-campus programs like the Saskatchewan Community Nutrition Residency or international collaborations with institutions such as the University of the West Indies and Ethiopia's Hawassa University.
A Master's degree, or equivalent, from a recognized university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study.
A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (USask grade system equivalent) in the Master's degree.
Demonstrated ability for independent thought, advanced study, and research.
