Applied Human Nutrition is an academic discipline provided by the Department of Family Relations and Applied Nutrition. As a distinctive, cross-disciplinary unit, we emphasize blending research with real-world application. Our faculty engages in practical studies spanning all life stages across various
environments, from public health initiatives to community programs and clinical contexts. The Applied Human Nutrition (AHN) program provides both MSc and PhD degrees, combining
structured coursework with thesis research. PhD candidates must additionally pass a comprehensive qualifying examination.

An honours bachelor's degree, or equivalent
A minimum 75% average in the last 2 years of study
Grades of at least 75% in applied statistics and social science research methods courses
For PhD, master's degree with a research-based thesis in human nutrition or a closely related field International English Language Testing System (Academic) (IELTS) 6.5 , Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and (TOEFL Special Home Edition (iBT)) 89 A minimum score of 21 must be achieved in each of the four categories (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
