Today's society places greater emphasis on health awareness than ever before, with healthy lifestyle principles fundamentally revolving around dietary choices and their health benefits. The Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition offers comprehensive education combining food science and nutritional studies.
Students will explore the transformation of agricultural products into safe, nutritious, and eco-friendly food supplies. The program cultivates analytical and solution-oriented abilities to meet evolving demands in food, health, and wellness industries, covering topics such as:
food's role in bodily nourishment (including metabolic processes)
the cultural connections surrounding food
food processing methods and their nutritional implications
overseeing food preparation and service in institutional settings
The curriculum also examines eco-conscious production methods, innovative food technologies, and how nutrition and lifestyle decisions influence health and the aging process.
