The Bachelor of Arts in Police Studies provides two distinct academic tracks: a practical professional route and a theoretical academic route.
The professional track involves three years of coursework in Justice Studies, followed by a term at the Saskatchewan Police College and a practical internship with a police agency, emphasizing real-world skill development.
The academic track consists of four years of study within Justice Studies, with the final year dedicated to deepening theoretical understanding and practical applications from earlier coursework.
Career Prospects
Graduates pursue careers as law enforcement officers in municipal or provincial police departments, or join the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
Students must have completed High School (Secondary School) or partial post-secondary.
