As criminals grow increasingly sophisticated amid rapid global changes and technological advancements, there's a rising need for trained experts in investigations and security across both public and private sectors.
This two-year diploma provides comprehensive training, teaching you to investigate, assess, and respond effectively by blending instinct, specialized knowledge, and communication abilities. Through field placements, you'll gain firsthand experience in security and investigative settings, while a dedicated crime lab lets you apply investigative methods as you master them.
Applicants must have a minimum overall average of 65% with no course grade lower than 50 percent, in the following high school courses:
ELA 30-1 or ELA 30-2
Social Studies 30-1 or Social Studies 30-2
One subject from Group A, B, C or D
Applicants with nine or more post-secondary level credits must also present a minimum admission grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
A minimum of 18 post-secondary credits with a minimum Admission Grade Point Average (AGPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
