Prepare to become a first responder by enrolling in Lakeland's emergency services technology (EST) program.

This distinctive program combines firefighting with pre-hospital medical training, offering Canada's sole full-time diploma of its kind. Begin with fundamental firefighting instruction before selecting your specialization - either continuing with fire services or transitioning to emergency medical training.

Gain practical experience at our cutting-edge Emergency Training Centre (ETC), Canada's most advanced training facility. Throughout your 36-week program, you'll participate in realistic emergency simulations.

Fire stream students exceed NFPA 1001 standards, while emergency medical students concentrate on Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) certification.

The program concludes with a comprehensive 12-week (160-hour) practicum placement.
