The Department of Sociology and Anthropology provides major and minor programs in Sociology (SOC), Anthropology (ANTH), and a joint Sociology/Anthropology Combined Major (SAN). Honors programs are available for each major. Our globally-recognized faculty bring diverse expertise gained through research and study across multiple countries and social contexts. Successful completion of Grade 12 examinations in a University Preparatory Program with an overall average of at least 70% (75% for Quebec Secondary V students).

International Baccalaureate - Completion of the IB Diploma with a score of 24

IELTS (Academic) - Overall score of 6.5 with no band below 6
TOEFL paper-based test - 550 with minimum TWE of 5.5.
TOEFL internet-based test - 80 with minimum of 20 in each category.
