Sociology questions widely accepted beliefs about our society through rigorous analysis. By critically studying social structures, interactions, and circumstances, sociologists provide fresh perspectives that often contradict conventional wisdom.
Students of sociology cultivate their analytical skills to explore intricate social dynamics, interpersonal connections, and fundamental aspects of human existence.
The program offers three specialization tracks, available as standalone majors or interdisciplinary combinations. Advanced students can pursue honors with focus areas in Social Research Analytics, Animal Studies, or Criminal Justice.
