Labour Studies focuses on examining and comprehending labor, workers, and their collective institutions through diverse social, cultural, historical, political, and economic viewpoints. The Morgan Centre for Labour Studies oversees this interdisciplinary program within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
This field explores employment dynamics, worker experiences, and organizational structures. As a multidisciplinary subject, it enables students to investigate numerous themes and methodologies related to work, encompassing legal frameworks, governmental policies, migration patterns, workplace politics, gender issues, ecological concerns, international integration, and cultural representations. Our curriculum caters to diverse learners - from advocacy-oriented students to seasoned professionals and labor activists seeking educational advancement - welcoming participants across all age groups and career stages.
