The master's program aims to train registered nurses for advanced practice roles and/or further doctoral education. Program graduates gain the skills to take on leadership positions that enhance nursing care quality across diverse healthcare environments. Through a strong foundation in theory and research, the curriculum tackles health challenges faced by individuals, families, groups, populations, and communities. This Master of Science in Nursing program is exclusively offered on-campus, with no distance learning alternatives available.

French-speaking minorities in Canada's western and eastern coastal regions, as well as the Territories, enjoy special advantages through the Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS). As a nationwide network, CNFS includes ten post-secondary institutions that deliver French-language healthcare education across multiple disciplines.
