The School of Political Studies provides advanced degree programs including a Graduate Diploma in Public Management and Governance, along with Master of Arts (MA) and PhD degrees in Political Science. Students can pursue the MA program either full-time or part-time, while the PhD is exclusively full-time. All programs are available in both French and English.
The MA program features three distinct pathways: thesis-based, research paper-based, or a research paper with cooperative education option.
Additionally, the school offers a Microprogram in Survey Research and Public Opinion for working professionals. Current MA or PhD candidates in Political Science or Public Administration may optionally complete this microprogram, with credits applying toward their degree requirements (Public Administration students require approval from their program supervisor). Successful microprogram completion will be noted on official transcripts.
