Qualification Requirements

MA applicants must have

  • Four-year Bachelor‚Äôs degree
  • Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.7 (A-) in the last 60 credit hours of study or last two years for international students. Degree granted by a University of recognized standing

English language proficiency test score:

  • Internet based TOEFL score of 92 written TOEFL score of 580 or IELTS score of 7.0.
  • CanTest: 4.5 (with no band score lower than 4.0)
  • CAEL: 70 with no band score lower than 60
  • Dalhousie College of Continuing Education (CCE) : A-
  • Pearson English Test PTE Academic: overall score of 65 and nothing below 54
