The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering provides advanced degree programs, including Master of Applied Science (MASc), Master of Engineering (MEng), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering.
The master's programs aim to enhance students' technical abilities and research proficiency by deepening their specialized chemical engineering knowledge through coursework, research seminars, and practical training.
Through the Accelerated Master's pathway, exceptional University of Ottawa undergraduates in Chemical and Biological Engineering can transition directly into a MASc program. This initiative enables research-driven students to start graduate-level work during their bachelor's studies, potentially allowing earlier completion of their master's degree.
Hold an honors bachelor’s degree with specialization or a major in chemical engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum average of 70% (B).
