The programs equip candidates for diverse careers in teaching and research, both in academic and non-academic settings. The Department collaborates in interdisciplinary programs including Bioinformatics (master's level), Human and Molecular Genetics (master's and doctoral levels), and Pathology and Experimental Medicine (master's and doctoral levels).

The PhD program also offers a Combined MD/PhD option, enabling students to earn both a Doctor of Medicine degree and a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine simultaneously.
