Anthropology explores humanity through combined biological and sociocultural lenses, tracing our development from early ancestors to modern times while examining societies of all sizes. The curriculum covers archaeological, biological, linguistic, and sociocultural anthropology. Though some core courses provide foundational knowledge across anthropological methods, students can tailor their studies by choosing specialized courses within the program and from other disciplines.
This joint major requires at least 120 credit hours to complete. To ensure well-rounded education, students must pass one course from each of four areas: Arts and Humanities, Social Science, Natural Science, and Physical Science before graduating.
