Anthropology examines humanity's beginnings and development by studying biological, cultural, and linguistic variations across populations. Students can choose from courses covering four primary branches: Archaeology, Biological Anthropology, Linguistic Anthropology, and Cultural Anthropology. Our professors specialize in diverse societies, cultures, and global regions throughout history. Coursework may include hands-on lab work analyzing artifacts and fossils, or chances to undertake and showcase original research projects. The BA Honors programs offer intensive focus on one (or sometimes two combined) disciplines, requiring superior admission standards and sustained academic achievement.
