Our program provides two distinct pathways to earn an MA in School Psychology: a two-year non-thesis option with comprehensive exams or a three-year thesis-based track. Both pathways aim to deliver exceptional education in school psychology fundamentals, equipping graduates to provide psychological services in educational settings. The curriculum emphasizes diverse theoretical frameworks (including biological, cognitive, and social approaches) for understanding mental health development, disorder causes, and treatment methods. Students receive specialized instruction in assessment techniques, prevention strategies, program implementation, and educational system dynamics. The non-thesis option involves two years of full-time campus study concluding with comprehensive exams, while the thesis track extends to three years with additional statistics coursework and original research requirements alongside the core curriculum.
