The Psychology graduate program stands out as one of Canada's most extensive and varied, offering seven specialized tracks: Brain, Behaviour, and Cognitive Science; Developmental Science; History & Theory; Quantitative Methods; Social & Personality; Clinical; and Clinical-Developmental psychology.
Unique offerings like Quantitative Methods and History & Theory set our program apart from most universities. We're uniquely positioned as the sole Canadian institution with CPA-accredited clinical programs covering both adult (Clinical) and developmental (Clinical-Developmental) psychology, including a specialized Clinical Neuropsychology pathway. Students can enhance their qualifications through distinctive diploma options in Neuroscience (featuring advanced neuroimaging facilities), Health Psychology, and Statistics, significantly boosting their career prospects.
With over 90 faculty members exploring a wide spectrum of research areas, our program fosters innovation through specialized research centers like the prestigious Centre for Vision Research, the LaMarsh Centre for Child & Youth Research, and the Centre for Aging Research & Education.
