Materials and polymers surround us in everyday life. The creation of innovative materials plays a crucial role in advancing future technologies. Our Department's researchers are developing and analyzing novel organic, inorganic, and polymer-based materials with applications in eco-friendly plastics, photovoltaic cells, LEDs, fuel cell components, magnetic systems, catalytic systems, filtration membranes, hydrogen storage solutions, and more. The Department boasts modernized research facilities equipped with cutting-edge analytical instruments including mass spectrometers, advanced imaging systems, non-linear optical equipment, and various spectroscopic technologies.
The Advanced Materials & Process Engineering Laboratory (AMPEL) offers a distinctive cross-disciplinary environment for materials research, bringing together experts from Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Materials Science Engineering.
