Our program views painting as a timeless, essential discipline with its own rich heritage of meaning and technique. Grounded in this core philosophy, we inspire students to explore diverse conceptual and material approaches to bring their unique artistic visions to life. The visual fluency cultivated through our painting curriculum fosters deeper world comprehension and opens doors for innovative engagement.
Key professional and personal competencies gained include analytical reasoning and inventive solution-finding.
Through group and one-on-one critiques, students hone their ability to express thoughts about both concrete and theoretical artistic elements.
Painting projects train students in efficient research methods and systematic visual data organization.
