Our Department provides MA and PhD programs in History, Classics, and Religious Studies as distinct disciplines, along with an interdisciplinary MA in Ancient Societies and Cultures. Both History and Classics feature multiple program options, each offering diverse specializations across geographical regions, thematic areas, and methodological approaches. Prospective students should visit the Department's website to explore faculty research specialties.
For Classics, we provide two course-based MA programs: Classical Languages (Greek, Latin, and Classical Studies) with optional focuses on classical literature or ancient history, and Classical Archaeology, which includes fieldwork opportunities. The PhD in Classics is available in both Classical Languages (a comprehensive program providing broad classical training) and Classical Archaeology.
