The Science and Education Faculties provide a joint degree program that's more structured than pursuing a BSc followed by a BEd After Degree (which takes six years). This five-year program offers fewer options for course selection and scheduling compared to completing the degrees separately, as it's specifically tailored to fulfill the basic requirements for both degrees. Furthermore, it must satisfy teacher certification standards within this condensed timeframe.
