Physics can be pursued as either a primary or secondary focus within a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree. Alongside Physics, students may explore disciplines like Astronomy, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, and Mathematics. This specialized program caters to individuals who have already completed an undergraduate degree. The duration of this post-degree program depends on the transferability of prior university credits. Teaching represents a profound vocation, and we're committed to shaping educators who will leave lasting impressions on their students. Our Faculty of Education's Secondary Education program equips you to inspire grades 7-12 learners across various subjects. You'll select two specialization areas - a primary and secondary focus - enabling you to follow your academic interests while tailoring your educational journey. The program structure incorporates a five-week Introductory Professional Term (IPT) followed by a nine-week Advanced Professional Term (APT), with teaching typically centered around your primary specialization during both terms.
