Cell Biology employs a unified method to examine cells – the fundamental building blocks of living organisms. This discipline combines various life science fields to analyze cellular operations and mechanisms. Through coursework covering protein roles, genetic regulation, and growth processes, you'll gain thorough expertise in cellular biology, equipping you for careers, advanced studies, or professional fields like healthcare. The Honors Bachelor of Science program offers concentrated specialization in chosen scientific domains while fostering research skills. Each curriculum includes a mandatory research thesis component, with participants held to stricter academic requirements compared to standard BSc Major degrees. While students may complement their studies with a minor from Arts, Native Studies, Business, or Agricultural/Life/Environmental Sciences faculties, this choice limits elective options. The Honors track does not permit pursuing dual majors.
