Biology explores life in all its forms, from microscopic bacteria and cells to complex plants and animals. This program covers fundamental concepts ranging from cellular biology to ecosystems and computational biology.
It combines coursework in chemistry, computer science, and business administration. Students have opportunities for paid co-op placements, hands-on industry research, and capstone thesis projects.
Specialize further with optional concentrations in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, Biophysics, or Environmental Biology to tailor your education. Alternatively, consider adding a Management Sciences designation.

Qualification Requirements
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including the following program specific requirements.
Typically, a minimum overall average of 70% establishes eligibility for admission consideration; subject to competition individual programs may require higher prerequisite grades and/or higher overall averages:

Applicants who have completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma must present grades of 4 or higher in three Higher Level and three Standard Level subjects, including prerequisite subjects, and a total score of 28 or higher (bonus points will be accepted).
