The Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts program at SCA offers professional-level, cross-disciplinary education within an academic environment for artists working in dance, film, music, theater, and visual arts.

This program enhances students' personal artistic development, creative thinking, interdisciplinary exploration, technical abilities, and understanding of art's role in modern culture. It particularly suits three types of artists: those with deep expertise in one field who seek interdisciplinary inspiration; practitioners blending multiple art forms; and those aiming to strengthen the theoretical foundation of their work.

Typically spanning seven semesters, the full-time MFA involves independent research and studio practice, concluding with a creative thesis project accompanied by a written component and portfolio. The two-year program requires students' presence in Vancouver throughout their studies.
