Our graduate programs in Arts Education provide students with chances to examine creativity and meaning creation via artistic expression, by studying art practices, teaching methods, and inquiry-based approaches. The Master of Education (MEd) in Arts Education is ideal for professionals in schools and other arts-focused learning environments. Qualification Requirements

A bachelor's degree from Simon Fraser University or its equivalent with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0/4.33 (B), or a grade point average of at least 3.33/4.33 (B+) based on the last 60 units of undergraduate/graduate courses will normally be required for admission.
ACADEMIC WRITING SAMPLE (PDF)
Upload a recent example of academic writing in PDF format. If applicants do not have a recent paper they are advised to write one on any topic that is of interest or relevance to them. Paper length should be a minimum of 5 pages.
TRANSCRIPTS
You must upload a transcript (scanned, saved, etc.) for each post-secondary institution you have attended (institutions you listed in Step 3, in your online application). Ensure all pages are uploaded, including the grading scale (typically located on the back of the page or a separate sheet).
REFERENCES
Include the name and contact information for three references most familiar with your research and/or academic potential.
IELTS - The University minimum requirements for English proficiency is an overall band score of 7.0 of the academic (NOT general) test with a minimum of 6.5 in each section.
TOEFL - The University minimum requirement for the internet-based exam is a total score of 93, with a minimum score of 20 in each category. For the paper-based TOEFL test, the University normally requires a score of 580, with TWE 5. Pearson Academic (PTE) - Overall 65 minimum 60 in all of their sections.
