This Bachelor of Science (BSc) program allows students to choose between a general environmental science track or one of five focused concentrations: applied biology, environmental archaeology, earth systems science, environmetrics, or water science. Students select their specialization by consulting with their academic advisor or completing the digital declaration form.
The Environmental Science program stands out by giving students comprehensive environmental knowledge grounded in rigorous scientific principles. It integrates multiple academic perspectives to enable thoughtful analysis and assessment of research on pressing ecological challenges affecting both human societies and natural systems. The curriculum prompts students to explore the societal, economic, and policy dimensions of environmental problems, including regulatory structures for conservation measures and how various stakeholders influence environmental decisions.
