The Joint Major in English and Communication enables students to blend literary studies, rhetorical analysis, writing techniques, and cultural critique with explorations of communication's historical development, methodologies, and societal impact. This program aims to produce graduates skilled in media and communication analysis, knowledgeable about literary heritage, and accomplished in persuasive and creative communication. The strong connections between these fields are reflected in the wide range of courses available across both English and Communication departments.
