This geology degree mandates completion of at least forty-five (45) credit hours in geology coursework. Graduates leave prepared to pursue advanced studies or enter scientific careers across research, education, government, or industry sectors. The program offers flexibility to combine a BSc Major or Honours in Geology with another discipline. Common combinations include Geology with Geography or Geology with Business Studies, the latter being a collaborative program with Sobey School of Business.
Students must fulfill a minimum of forty-two (42) commerce credit hours alongside thirty-six (36) geology credit hours. The curriculum also includes an interdisciplinary thesis project.
